Two are repeat customers. Yuan Wang’s whimsical pieces have already become editorial and celebrity hits – especially the fantastical hats. And Charlotte Knowles, designed by Knowles and Alexandre Aresenault, transforms school-girl plaids and ginghams into futuristic wear for an assertive power femme. The new guy is Gareth Wrighton, a Central Saint Martins grad whose most recent project is a collaboration with stylist Ib Kamara.
Kennedy says of her latest batch, “I’m thrilled to be working with all three – it’s a wild dream line-up! As designers they have very different aesthetics, each voice is modern and significant. They’re also really good at executing their visions; I like how well edited it feels. And as people they are ideal – hard working but fun. I love them in every way.”

It means the world. For a long time now I have admired their designers for the courage it takes to start a brand in today’s fashion climate and the amount of pressure young people take on, often straight out of university. I have crazy respect for the platform and support Lulu and Fashion East have given them, and now me. It is humbling to say the least.
