Following O'Shea's exit in October 2016, Flore (who has been with the company since 2014) said that "the strategy of revitalisation of Brioni that started at the beginning of this year is set to continue being implemented through a long-term plan aimed to further establish the brand as a leader in the luxury menswear category" - the status of that long-term plan now remains to be seen.
Founded in Rome in 1945, the brand - which has long been synonymous with luxurious bespoke tailoring with stores all over the world - was acquired by Kering in 2012, expanding into ready-to-wear, leather goods, fragrance, shoes and eyewear.
