Carl Barat, Rafferty Law, Sai Bennett, Christabel MacGreevy, Sydney Lima and Greta Bellamacina joined the brand for chips and drinks on the inaugural night of its “My Local” series. Coming to a pub near you, Mulberry is opening the next three nights to the public.
Simply pitch up to one of London’s most spacious inns to watch a free gig with complimentary refreshments. Rosie Lowe, Yak and Babeheaven will take to the stages in Farringdon, Cambridge Heath and Peckham, respectively, while James Massiah and Foundation FM, the first female-led radio station, will bring the beats in between sets.
Mulberry follows a long line of brands, including Alexa Chung and Hillier Bartley, which have taken over pubs for parties and events that appeal to a younger crowd looking for Instagram opportunities with their fashion. Mulberry’s mission, however, is to shine a spotlight on community spirit – something that the brand might have heaps of in the locals near its South West HQ, but has become jeopardised in the capital because of cuts to the night-time economy.
For tickets to The Betsey Trotwood, Sebright Arms and Prince of Peckham, sign up for Mulberry updates on the Dice app. Your spot on the guest list is up for grabs, but prepare to share a shandy or two with the likes of Barat, Bellamacina and co.
