No Catwalk Show For Alexander McQueen This Season

Alexander McQueen will not hold an autumn/winter 2013-14 catwalk show this coming season - opting instead for an intimate presentation. Creative director Sarah Burton who is currently heavily pregnant with twins, will be on maternity leave during Paris Fashion Week - and will remain in her hometown of London.

The brand will hold a small private presentation for around 100 editors at a central Paris location in the afternoon of March 5. Commercial appointments will be scheduled for later that evening. A spokesperson for the label confirmed that Burton plans to reclaim McQueen's traditional Paris Fashion Week evening show slot for spring/summer 2014.
