Mulberry's Spring 2013 Campaign

For Spring Summer 2013, Mulberry has gone under the sea. The new campaign images have just landed, shot by Tim Walker, and what a treat to see the Brit brand taking their luxe creations to new shores. Pixie-like model Meghan Collison stars as the Mulberry mermaid and can be seen perching on ginormous pastel-coloured coral and posing against baby blue rocks. They've had oodles of fun with the bubble machine too, decorating the images with bouncing, shiny beads.

‘This season's campaign was a haze of beautiful colours, the setup complemented the products beautifully,' Emma Hill exclusively told Fashion Television. 'The featured ready-to-wear and accessories showcased new tailoring, fresh shapes, print and our continued dedication to our leather craft heritage.’

Indeed, the surreal shots are given that oh-so-English edge thanks to the coats and capes layered over dresses that we first saw on the catwalk in September. Those retro prints that Florence Welch would LOVE, classic outerwear perfect for Alexa types and leatherwork also make an appearance - and there's that divne Willow Tote.

You'll remember Kate Moss modelled the multi-functional bag at the London Fashion Week show when she told the media she wished it was the ´Moss Bag.´ But despite not having a namesake Mulberry (yet), the Willow has been spotted on the supermodels arm ever since so it's hardly surprising to see it taking centre stage in the campaign. Bag lovers will also be delighted to see the Cecily and Cecily Flower Tote are also given a prime spot, as well as Mulberry’s icon Bayswater in sumptuous Ostrich.
