Victoria Beckham's Latest Accessory Is A Monogrammed Lab Coat

We've been on tenterhooks ever since Victoria Beckham announced her plans to launch an eponymous beauty line back in February. “I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in make-up, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,” Beckham said in a statement at the time.

Thankfully, she’s been dropping teasers on Instagram every now and then to keep us on our toes in the run up to the launch. In her latest post, she gives fans a sneak peek into the science behind it all – while wearing a personalised lab coat, of course. “From labs to meetings... busy working on Victoria Beckham Beauty,” she said in a caption beneath a photo of herself wearing cream checked trousers paired, a red shirt and a light green jumper from her own brand.

VB also shared a sweet thank you to her right-hand woman, Sarah Creal, the co-founder and CEO of Victoria Beckham Beauty. She said in a video post: “Grateful to have Sarah Creal, my co-founder and CEO of Victoria Beckham Beauty... Who has your back?”

The fashion designer is launching VB Beauty as a digital-native brand, sold through Victoriabeckham.com and backed by NEO Investment Partners. “I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a standalone store, so this isn’t new to me,” says Beckham, who announced the launch of her own YouTube channel last year in a move designed to allow her to engage directly with her fans. “Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want.”
