Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Christmas Pop-Up

Naomi Campbell can’t pick a highlight from the items on sale at her Fashion For Relief pop-up shop, which has returned to London for the first time in five years this week. “There’s just so much stuff,” she marvels, following an opening party that saw her welcome shoppers like IAMDDB, Emilia Boateng and Boy George. “I’ve been putting stuff away for this all year.” That’s right, clothes and accessories that once resided in the supermodel’s own wardrobe are now waiting to be purchased in Westfield London – and all to benefit a good cause, too.

Campbell has also tapped her impressive little black book to put together a smörgåsbord of treats for fashion fans that includes donations from friends and brands. Think Simone Rocha flats, Burberry handbags, an Alaïa tote, a Moncler Genius bomber jacket, and a Gucci logo slip dress Kendall Jenner would kill to get her hands on.

The space is also playing host to presentations from young, up and coming designers (“It’s always the best to champion young talent,” says Campbell), and the money raised will benefit Fashion For Relief’s 2019 charity partner, the Mayor’s Fund for London, this festive season. The shop will be open at the Atrium until 8 December, making it ideal for shoppers in the market for (designer) stocking fillers for a lucky loved one.

As for her own Christmas shopping, Campbell confesses she hasn’t even started yet. Nor has she nailed down her festive season plans. What she does know for sure is, once her retail efforts are wrapped up for the year, she’ll be escaping the London chill for sunnier climes with her inner circle. “I don’t know what I’m doing yet, but I do know I’ll be in Africa,” she says. “Definitely Lagos and Ghana.” After all of her efforts to improve the futures of disadvantaged young Londoners (Campbell’s annual Fashion For Relief runway show raised hundreds of thousands back in September), this supermodel has certainly earned a holiday.
