Virgil Abloh's Exhibition In Paris

From January 2020, Virgil Abloh will be taking over the Galerie Kreo in Paris's 6th arrondissement for the duration of an exhibition called "Efflorescence". It seems the designer has been enjoying Miami Art Basel and took the opportunity to provide us with a sneak preview of what's heading to Paris.

After a retrospective of his career entitles Figures of Speech at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Virgil Abloh, multifaceted personality (designer, DJ, architect and artist) is preparing a new exhibition in January 2020 as he announced on Instagram: "just signed to @galeriekreo ~ exhibition of new work titled “efflorescence” come january ©2020".

The exhibition will be presented at the Galerie kreo at 31 rue Dauphine in Paris's 6th arrondissement. According to several media reports, this exhibition by the founder of Off-White and creative director of Louis Vuitton will focus on one material, concrete, and the different ways in which man and the environment can use it.

Virgil Abloh had already shared his artistic talent by collaborating with Takashi Murakami during an exhibition at the Gagosian gallery which combined Off-White street wear with the intense irony of the Japanese artist. Mark your calendars for next January as one thing is for sure. Virgil Abloh definitely hasn't finished surprising us yet.
