McQueen & Blow Film In The Works

A new fashion drama depicting Alexander McQueen’s infamous relationship with his muse Isabella Blow is in the works.

Titled The Ripper, the film will document the tumultuous friendship between the designer and the fashion editor, according to Variety. The pair, who frequently worked together, were both considered mavericks in the industry and continue to be renowned for their extroverted styles. Blow died from an overdose in 2008, two years before McQueen committed suicide.

Details of the drama are scarce currently, with no suggestion yet regarding who will take the main roles. The script has been written by Gesha-Marie Bland and it will be produced by Maven Pictures.
