Benicassim Becomes The New Model Scouting Ground

Are you going to Benicassim music festival this year? The four-day extravaganza - situated on the Spanish coast - could bring you a step closer to a modelling career, with Premier Model Management  having been named the event's official model agency.

"We are looking for tall girls and boys," Premier founder Carole White  told us. "Style does not influence us - what we are after are strong looks, something different that sets the individual apart and, above all, young people who are driven and ambitious. It's hard to put your finger on, but we just know it when we see it."

White decided to work with the festival because of its wide demographic. Around 200,000 people are expected to attend this year, mostly between the ages of 16 and 35 - with the British composing 60 per cent of revellers and the French and Spanish accounting for the remaining 40 per cent.

"The good weather and the proximity to the beach make it a great deal easier to scout as you can see people's figures," said White. "We are really excited about partnering with Benicassim."

The agency is known for its roster of impressive model names - including Chloe Norgaard and Lara Mullen, the latter of whom is attending Benicassim this year with fellow model Sam Rollinson. For her, it is the "sun, sea and the sound" that drew her to the event.

"I'm really looking forward to hearing Bastille and The Arctic Monkeys, who are headlining," Mullen told us. "I've always had a soft spot for Alex Turner. Dizzee Rascal will be pretty fun to watch on stage. I'm also really excited to be going on a girls' holiday with my friend, Sam.
