Karl Lagerfeld Will Be Honored In This Temporary Paris Exhibition

A fashion interlude in the buzzing Salon, the exhibition dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld at the Carreau du Temple is already capturing our attention. On Tuesday February 19th, 2019, Karl Lagerfeld left us, leaving behind him nearly 60 years of an avant-garde fashion, devoid of inhibitions but above all unifying. The legandary artistic director of the Chanel fashion house, to which he brought a wind of modernity and audacity from 1983 onwards, the Kaiser, as he was nicknamed in the fashion world, lived a thousand lives, seeming to know everything about everything.

Nearly a year after his death, the Salon du Vintage, a must-see venue for lovers of beautiful retro pieces, is paying homage to Karl Lagerfeld with an exceptional exhibition presented in a new scenography right in the heart of the Salon. From the first pieces for Chloé in the 1970s to the most sumptuous Chanel creations, this series of creations imagined by Karl Lagerfeld is already the highlight of this vintage-dedicated weekend.
