"Their fashion labels have shown exciting growth and both individually and collectively their businesses reinforce the UK's reputation for creative strength," said Caroline Rush CBE, chief executive of the BFC, who hosted a lawn party last night in London to make the announcement.
Fulton, who earlier in the week showed her own support to emerging talent at Graduate fashion Week by presenting at its gala awards, noted the importance of the scheme's specific strategic support tailored to each designer and what they want to achieve in their business.
Last night also saw the announcement of the Graduate Traineeship Programme (already in pilot over the past year) offering BA and MA design graduates the opportunity to apply for a twelve-month placement with one of London Fashion Week's designers.
Previous recipients of the BFC Fashion Trust scheme have included Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou and Jonathan Saunders.
