Victoria Beckham Unveils 10th Anniversary Collection

The Victoria Beckham 10th anniversary announcements keep on rolling in. Earlier this week, the designer got back inside a shopping bag and revisited her iconic 2008 Marc Jacobs campaign photographed by Juergen Teller. The new imagery – the first brand campaign to star Beckham herself – has been printed onto a birthday T-shirt that will undoubtedly fly off the shelves when it goes on sale tomorrow, September 16th.

Beckham, who will be taking a turn on the till in her Dover Street store after the spring/summer 2019 show, is also offering customers the chance to buy a limited-edition capsule collection in celebration of the brand’s important milestone.

The 16-piece edit will comprise new versions of the Eva clutch and Eva pump, which Beckham models in the current advertising campaign. Lilac and red suede versions of the structured, compact bag with double chain will be available, in addition to the hazel-hued bag shot by Teller. And the white Evas we see peeping out of the carrier bag in the new images will come in lilac with VB mongrammed soles.

Speaking of monograms, the 10th anniversary collection debuts a new range of fashion jewellery, including a brass whistle pendant necklace, a red leather bracelet and a chunky brass signet ring – each hand-crafted in Italy and embossed with a discreet “VB”.

And the woman who famously splashed the slogan, “It’s A Dark But Happy Place” across a series of T-shirts couldn’t leave sunglasses out of the equation. Two pairs of large Bevelled square sunnies also handmade in Italy come in black acetate and tortoiseshell frames with graduated lenses.

“This season it was really important that my customers were at the centre of our ten year celebrations. I will be offering ‘shop the show’ so people can pre-order pieces directly from my website after the spring/summer 2019 presentation,” Beckham told us exclusively. “But I also wanted to create a collection to mark the anniversary, something people could buy and wear now! I hope people like the pieces as much as I’ve enjoyed working on them.”

The fun doesn’t stop there. On the eve of her spring/summer 2019 show at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac and stint greeting VIP clients and customers, who have travelled to London to shop the new-season pieces, Beckham will team up with British Vogue to throw a party to rival all others at London Fashion Week. When brand Beckham turns 10, it means business.

Stay tuned for the party pictures, and browse the full anniversary collection, which is also available to buy from Victoriabeckham.com.
