Sarah Harris Appointed British Vogue Deputy Editor

Sarah Harris has been promoted from fashion features director to deputy editor of British Vogue with immediate effect, following her recent return from maternity leave.

Having joined as fashion features editor in 2003, Harris will continue to oversee the fashion features department, as well as working closely with editor-in-chief Edward Enninful to build on the brand's new editorial vision and its global reputation for diversity.

"I am delighted to return to British Vogue as deputy editor," Harris said of her new role. "And to work alongside Edward Enninful, who in a short amount of time has masterfully set out his vision for the next chapter of the Vogue brand.”

Speaking of Harris's appointment, Enninful said: "Sarah brings a wealth of fashion journalism experience to the newly created role, which alongside her key relationships within the fashion industry ensures British Vogue remains at the forefront of bold and glamorous content."

In addition, Julia Sarr-Jamois has been appointed fashion editor-at-large and Gianluca Longo has been appointed contributing style editor at the title.
