Berluti Announces The Departure Of Artistic Director Haider Ackermann

In the latest in a series of high-profile industry moves within menswear over the past month, this morning, Berluti announced the departure of its Artistic Director Haider Ackermann.

In a press statement, Antoine Arnault, CEO of the House, explained: "Haider has been at the core of the evolution of Berluti’s collections and image these past few seasons. I want to thank him for everything he has accomplished since his arrival. His feel for materials, colours, and his wonderful shows will always be linked to the history of the House”.

Haider Ackermann who joined the luxury French brand just three seasons ago in September 2016, added today: "I am immensely proud to have been able to put my creativity at the service of this House with an exceptional know-how, whilst working with a passionate team. I thank them for their commitment.”

Berluti will announce Ackermann's successor shortly. After the news that Kim Jones has moved to Dior Homme to replace Kris Van Assche and Virgil Abloh has succeeded Jones at Louis Vuitton, it is rumoured that Kris Van Assche will take up the role of Artistic Director at Berluti.
